History of an Interactive Character Software Company

CodeBaby began as a incubation project within Bioware, a Canadian company based in Edmonton, Alberta. In creating memorable 3D characters for their story-driven games, Bioware founders Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk noticed that those interactive characters created a powerful digital engagement and emotional response with players.  In 2001, CodeBaby officially spun off as a completely separate entity. The idea for the newly formed CodeBaby Corporation was to serve the business community by redefining “interactivity” and creating an evolution in human/computer interfaces.

In 2004, we created Production Studio®. This software allows users to create engaging, interactive digital characters. This new product provided industry-leading innovation and a world-class solution to an emerging category. Our proprietary technology enables rapid time-to-value and is standards-based, allowing deep integration with your current web environment or eLearning platform.
