Web Inside Sales

Creative Services Plan Specialist

Reporting to the Senior Manager of CodeBaby Services and located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the 'CodeBaby Creative Services Plan Specialist' is responsible for overall project management and delivery of high-quality project deployments (referred to as 'CodeBaby Conversations'), as well as detailed Conversation design and scripting, for our growing base of corporate customers.

The responsibilities and tasks for the Creative Plan Specialist are as follows:

1. Manage Sales handoffs and meetings

2. Design and develop all elements of a customer's CodeBaby Conversation by working with the customer and internal CodeBaby teams (Art, Create, Deliver, Sales), via the specific Create process:
    • Identify a customer's business objectives that the CodeBaby Conversation intends to fulfill, in addition to those identified during the sales process.
    • Research and understand the flow, design, and structure of a customer's website, as well as the specifics of their business/products and customer base.
    • Document CodeBaby's 'Emotional Response Solution' which will be used in the CodeBaby Conversation to design the Conversation and fulfill a customer's specific business objectives.
    • Create and document the "Character Persona," a description of the personality, character traits, and physical attributes of the CodeBaby Character.
    • Create and document the "Conversation Map," a flowchart of the conversation and how it will overlay onto the pages of a customer's website, based on the flow, design, and structure of the website itself.
    • Create and document a "Character Script." The script contains verbiage that the CodeBaby characters will recite during the CodeBaby Conversation on a customer's website and also specifies the page where the Character will engage a visitor. In addition, the script indicates the content and location of accompanying dialog boxes which contain navigation choices, resulting in a truly interactive experience. The actions and corresponding expected results are outlined in the Script.
    • Create and document the "Delivery Summary," a modified version of the "Character Script" which serves as a guide for the Deliver teammate who codes the Conversation and places the code on a customer's individual website pages.
    • Create and document the "Conversation Measurement Plans" which consists of metrics data, how it's measured, when it's measured, and on what schedule it is reported to the customer.
    • Perform Quality Assurance for projects prior to going live.
    • Engage Create and Deliver teams as appropriate to perform their roles

3. Interface with customers to communicate on all aspects of their project, managing the relationship from the project perspective in conjunction with sales.
    • Adhere to and reported status on the identified customer business objectives, timelines, and budgets to customers or internal CodeBaby teams and management.
    • Review post deployment metrics data to prepare customer reports summarizing the performance of their CodeBaby Conversation in order to prove the value of the Conversation, show the customer's return on investment, and identify any areas of improvement for the Conversation.

4. Grow the CodeBaby Web and eLearning products.
    • Work with teammates and engineering to define the requirements for the proprietary CodeBaby Studio software, used internally for design and development of the CodeBaby Conversation. Studio is also available to customers.
    • Work with teammates and management to develop and improve CodeBaby Creative Methodologies and Processes.

The skills required of the Creative Plan Specialist are as follows:

    • Exceptional project management ability

    • Able to communicate conceptual ideas to the client and team easily

Software Dev Web Based Apps

CodeBaby is looking for an Intermediate Software Developer for developing Web-based applications, for integrating planning, creating and delivering CodeBaby conversations. Reporting to the VP Engineering, the Software Developer is responsible for the development and testing of CodeBaby's product line. This includes:

* Collaborating with Product Marketing in feature design of our products.
* Developing new features for our products per design specifications.
* Writing technical specifications.
* Debugging/fixing defects in existing products.
* Performing unit and system testing to deliver quality software programs.
* Writing and maintain proper technical documentation.
* Using Agile software development methodologies to ensure that products are developed to high standards.
* Assisting with the creation of release plans, timelines, and software program / API specifications.

The perfect candidate for this position is team-oriented, and has the professional maturity to work with all levels of management. They also have the ability to organize with multiple diverse teams including artists, developers, and even third-party organizations to get their job done.

Requirements:

* Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Technology or equivalent
* Ruby on Rails programming skills (preferably) or experience with other web software development frameworks
* Excellent troubleshooting skills
* Attention to detail and quality
* Strong communication skills

Desirable Qualifications:

* Experience working in Agile teams, using collaborative tools and versioning systems.

This role requires a go-getter, someone who links like a writer/publisher and will work tirelessly to get placements and produce stories. With the support of the CEO, Sr Execs, and the rest of marketing, this person drives the process to initiate, nurture, and leverage the key editorial relationships. The person works across the full range of new media including the CodeBaby website, social media, podcasts, etc. And yes, it involves writing press releases, getting releases on the wire, posted on our website, and so on. But it's so much more. This is the chance to be part of a game changing, category making, uber-cool emerging company. And to know that your PR role was a major contributing factor in our success.

Criteria: Hustle, relationship skills, initiative, and compulsion for results is the top of the list. Must be a very resourceful and organized person to keep many balls in the air. Very strong verbal communicator and writer. Some experience in PR required to understand the domain, ideally at least 3 years prior experience. Social media experience a plus. New media and internet software experience a plus. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Account Manager

The CodeBaby Account Manager is responsible for shepherding the customer from the point of sale through to the successful implementation of their live CodeBaby Conversation.

The Account Manager will manage and care for the client relationship as the client progresses from sales to implementation and will maintain the relationship after delivery of the CodeBaby Conversation for the clients website.  
The Account Manger is a critical liaison between internal organizations and the client, charged with facilitating any manner of bi-directional communication such as concerns, expectations, issues, scope changes, or schedule impacts during the implementation process and beyond.  Equally critical after delivery of the service, the Account Manager will communicate Return on Investment to the client, ensuring that their objectives are met and the value they expected from the CodeBaby Conversation is truly delivered.  Clients will be internal, as well as external, since the Account Manager will be required to work closely with all CodeBaby internal organizations.

Day-to-day tasks will center around understanding the clients objectives for the CodeBaby Conversation, ensuring that they are met, and can be proven to the client.  As such, the Account Manager will have an important role in working with Creative Services performing statistical analysis to determine the effectiveness of each clients CodeBaby Conversation, ultimately presenting those results to customers. When a new sale or an upsell opportunity presents itself, it is the responsibility of the Account Manager to engage the Sales team and thus, grow revenue and the company.

The Account Manager position is located in Colorado Springs, CO and reports to the Senior Manager of Creative Services.

CodeBaby requires a candidate who:

•Has 6+ years Account Manager experience, preferably in a technical industry
•Has a 4-year degree
•Has an exceptional ability to communicate and interact with people, whether they are a client or a co-worker; that verbal ability must translate well into written form
•Is able to understand the logic flow and architecture of a website
•Is comfortable with web technology and web trends; has a good understanding of general web terminology
•Is proficient in Microsoft suite of products or equivalent
