Alberta Venture Magazine and Grant Thornton LLP Name CodeBaby as Alberta’s 8th Fastest Growing Company, in Annual List of the 50 Fastest Growing Companies in Alberta

EDMONTON, AB, Canada

CodeBaby®, the leading developer of virtual agent software, announced today that it has been awarded a top 10 place in the 2006 List of Alberta’s Fastest Growing Companies, as ranked by Alberta Venture magazine and Grant Thornton LLP. This is the first year that CodeBaby has been named to the prestigious Alberta Venture Fast 50 list, and in its debut has been ranked 8th on the list of the province’s fastest growing companies with under $20 million in revenue.

The annual ranking of the Fastest Growing Companies is presented by Alberta Venture magazine along with sponsors ATB Financial, Alberta Research Council, Parlee McLaws LLP, Robert Half International and founding partner Grant Thornton LLP. The Fast 50, a highly anticipated ranking now in its eighth year, features companies that have seen the most significant increase in revenue, assets and net earnings over a three-year period.
